World Academy of Safety & Heath (WASH) is a lifeguard certifying body and, once approved in each jurisdiction, will offer lifesaving classes delivered through Authorized Training Centers (ATC’s) in particular geographic areas of the United States and the world. These trainings will include Lifeguarding, Lifeguarding in Spanish, Lifeguarding Instructor, and Lifeguarding Instructor in Spanish. The Lifeguard Training Course will be available as a full in-person class. As a result, you have access to many different lifesaving class options.
Courses can also be offered at your employer’s location or in your backyard pool. This allows the certification classes to be accessible no matter where a student may live. We will have a training class available and suitable for you.
Lifeguard Courses will be available for purchase in each jurisdiction as they are approved in that jurisdiction.

A new major brand of lifeguarding certification is World Academy of Safety & Health (WASH). We are currently seeking approval in jurisdictions across the United States as well as some areas of the Caribbean and Europe for our Lifeguard Certification Program.
You can find a wide array of World Academy of Safety & Health classes advertised on this website. Lifeguarding Training, Lifeguarding Instructor classes will all be available for purchase on the WASH website and delivered by Authorized Training Centers (ATC’s) across the world. Lifeguarding Certification Worldwide

When lifeguards work outside, they are exposed to various types of weather. This work is physically demanding, depending on the situations that occur during a work shift.
Many lifeguards have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Lifeguarding Training is available to verify that prospective lifeguards are strong swimmers, as well as trained in CPR and first aid.

Lifeguard Instructor Courses. Become certified as a Lifeguarding Instructor. This course teaches students to train and certify participants in Lifeguarding and CPR/AED. Participants must be currently certified in basic provider-level Lifeguarding.
Becoming a Lifeguarding Instructor is accessible and economical. We anticipate our Lifeguard Instructor certification courses will be recognized in many worldwide locations.
A certified lifeguard instructor will be able to teach pool lifeguarding, shallow pool lifeguarding, waterfront lifeguarding. Additionally, instructors who complete the ASHI Instructor Development Course (IDC) will be able to teach Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR/AED, and Basic First Aid courses.
Lifeguard, Lifeguard Instructor, and CPR Courses in Spanish
The World Academy of Safety & Health courses will not only be geographically accessible, they will also be accessible to non-English speaking students. The Pro-Trainings CPR/AED course we offer is already available in both English and Spanish. To compliment the current English versions, we anticipate the Pool Lifeguard, Waterfront Lifeguard and Lifeguard Instructor courses will be available in Spanish in late 2022.
