In an effort to promote water safety and prevent incidents of drowning worldwide, World Academy of Safety & Health (WASH), with the help of corporate sponsors and partners as well as private donors, has initiated a need-based Scholarship Program. This program is designed to allow individuals who, without tuition assistance, would not otherwise be able to participate in our Lifeguard Training Courses.
Aquatic facilities and/or individual pools or other organizations are also eligible and invited to apply for a scholarship for one or more of their staff members. The goal of the scholarship fund is to ensure access to training for individuals, organizations, and facilities either in under-served areas or who, simply, could not otherwise afford the proper training.
Scholarship recipients participate in one of our training classes free of charge.
